What I Enjoy in My Free Time:
Reading, camping, listening to music with my family, driving through the woods, and going to the beach.

Favorite Season:
Fall because I love bundling up by a fire with my family, and it’s our favorite time of year to go camping.

Favorite Classroom Activity:
Teaching children new things and watching their excitement when they accomplish something they didn’t think they could do.

Favorite Memory with Students:
I have many wonderful memories, but one of my favorites happened recently. I hadn’t told anyone it was my birthday, yet one of my students came in with a handmade heart she had colored. Her mom had cut it into a heart shape and helped write “Happy Birthday” on it. It was such a simple, thoughtful gift, and it meant so much to me.

One day I was feeling a little down, and one of my students asked if I was okay. I told them I was just sleepy and thanked them for asking. They smiled and said, “Teacher, you’re strong and so loved.” That moment reminded me how much our words and kindness influence children, and it will always be a special memory.
